My morning ritual includes good, strong French Press coffee and a walk on the beach.

 

It was windy down by the sea this morning and apart from a single fisherman, I was alone.

 

Down by the surf line I found this sponge with barnacles still attached. Kneeling down to get a close up, I no sooner had snapped the shutter when the ocean came up from behind and drenched me!

 

Good thing the water temps are still warm.

My wish for you today, if you’re getting snuck up upon, may the conditions be warm and if not, may you have the wherewithal to watch your back.
