Tropical Storm Hanna

The ocean is getting rough. The red warning flags are out. Posted every 50 feet or so they prohibit swimming.

Rip Currents have taken the lives of several people here in Palm Beach County in South Florida.

Kite Boarders have been out in force though. This morning, driving down Ocean Boulevard (A1A) on my way home from picking up my hurricane supplies, I saw six colorful arcs in the sky - kite boarders flying through the surf.

It’s funny how what’s a determent to one group is exciting to another. It’s all a matter of perspective.

I rode my bike down to the beach this afternoon for a short walk; my daily constitutional. But the ocean was just so stunning with its crashing white waves against cobalt blue sky, I just couldn’t break free and go back home. So I sat on the beach, watched the kite boarders and worked on Pug.
